As Thanksgiving approaches, we want to pause and express our sincere gratitude for you, our clients, colleagues, and referral partners. Whether we have walked with you through a legal matter, advised your family, or collaborated professionally, your trust is a gift we never take lightly. This season is a reminder of how meaningful those relationships truly are.
A Moment to Reflect:Â Every year brings its own challenges, victories, and lessons. For many of our clients, this year included major life transitions, buying homes, losing loved ones, welcoming new family members, launching businesses, or preparing for the future. We are honored to support you during these pivotal moments.
Thanksgiving gives us all a chance to reflect on what matters most: family, peace of mind, and the legacy we’re building. In our work, those values surface daily. Whether we’re assisting with probate, preparing estate documents, or helping families plan for long-term care needs, we see the importance of clarity, planning, and protection.
A Gentle Reminder for the Season:Â As you gather with loved ones, this is an ideal time to check in on a few essential matters that tend to be forgotten during the busyness of the year:
1. Is your estate plan up to date?
The holidays often reveal changes, new marriages, new children, new real estate, or shifting responsibilities. A quick review of your will, trust, or beneficiary designations can save your family stress later.
2. Is your family prepared for long-term care or Medicaid planning?
Many families don’t realize the importance of early planning until a crisis hits. Discussing long-term care options, reviewing asset protection strategies, or understanding Medicaid eligibility before it’s needed can make a tremendous difference, both financially and emotionally. If you have aging parents or relatives, this is a valuable conversation to start now.
3. Does someone you love need guidance after a recent loss?
Many families struggle through probate alone because they don’t know where to begin. If you know someone in that situation, a warm introduction is often the most significant help you can give them.
We’d Love to Hear From You: One of our favorite parts of the Thanksgiving season is reconnecting with the people we’ve served. If you’d like us to review a document, discuss a question, or update us on what’s new with your family or business, we're happy to do so.
In fact, we’d appreciate a quick reply to this email letting us know:
Something you’re grateful for this year, or
A topic you’d like us to cover in an upcoming newsletter.
Your feedback helps us continue serving you with excellence and relevance.
Thank you again for trusting us with your legal matters and for referring people you care about. We value those connections deeply.
Wishing you and your family a blessed, restful, and meaningful Thanksgiving.
